It's good to see another of your snowman pieces here, especially one with a wonderful winter wonderland. I'm in half a mind to jump through the computer screen in a cap and winter coat to play in the snow.
What I like:
The image's layout- you took my advice from last time and successfully avoided tangents. Our subject the snowman is off-center, but the off-centered quality creates a heightened sense of realism and the foreground trees frame him appropriately. He also looks so darn happy basking on the hill.
What to think about:
The color for the trees- I know that evergreen trees have a dark veridian hue, but the tones blend in too much with the snowman's hat where a tree overlaps with the black, reducing the clarity there. Sometimes realism can be eschewed with promising results.
